You can take the control stick yourself
This is the part of the package that surprises people most: on the Full Aerobatic Flight you are not just a passenger. You can take over the control stick and fly the manoeuvres yourself, guided by the pilot — he remains pilot in command throughout the flight and takes over the controls at any time.
It is not a symbolic gesture lasting a few seconds, but a direct consequence of the aircraft we fly: a Robin R2160 (Alpha Sport), designed specifically as an aerobatic trainer and certified in the utility and aerobatic categories, with limits of +6/−3G.
- Dual controls: in front of you there is a working control stick and rudder pedals, just as in any training aircraft.
- Side-by-side seating: you sit next to the pilot, not behind him — you can see and hear each other, and follow exactly what he is doing on the controls.
- Registered DTO: Vulturașul is the first registered acrobatic training organisation (DTO) in Romania, and the experience flights are flown to the same procedures as the training lessons.
How much of the flight you actually fly depends on how you feel and on the pilot's recommendation. You can just as well simply enjoy the manoeuvres without touching the controls — the decision stays yours, in the air. More about the aircraft on the page about Vulturașul.
The manoeuvres in the full routine
Loop
A complete circle in the vertical plane. You climb nose-up, go over the top and come back down — the moment with the clearest positive G.
Roll
A 360-degree rotation around the longitudinal axis. The horizon turns fully over and comes back, without changing the flight path.
Spin
The aircraft enters autorotation and descends while rotating around its vertical axis. The pilot controls both the entry and the recovery.
Inverted flight
You fly upside down, held by the 5-point harness, with the sea above you and the sky below. This is the manoeuvre the introductory package does not include.
What 4-6G feels like
Up to six times your body weight
At 6G, a 70 kg body presses into the seat as if it weighed 420 kg. Your head feels heavy, your arms drop into your lap and you have to breathe in a controlled way — exactly the technique the pilot covers in the briefing.
Contrasting sensations
The routine alternates positive G with moments of weightlessness, where you lift slightly off the seat, held only by the harness.
A pace set by the passenger
Between figures the pilot checks how you are feeling and adjusts the intensity. You can ask for a break or a slower pace at any time.

What G-forces will I feel?
You will feel 4-6G. The pilot adjusts the intensity of the manoeuvres according to how the passenger is responding.
How does it differ from the Introduction to Aerobatics flight?
Both packages have 30 minutes of flight, but the full aerobatic one adds spins and inverted flight and reaches 4-6G, compared with 3-4G for the introduction package.
Is it dangerous?
The flight is carried out by a certified professional pilot in an aircraft approved for aerobatics. The passenger is secured with a 5-point safety harness.
Do I need flying experience?
No previous experience is needed. The pilot explains everything before the flight.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. 2,000 lei in full, 6 interest-free instalments of 333.34 lei, or 12 instalments of 166.67 lei.
Do Full Aerobatic flights also operate outside Costinești?
Our home base is Costinești Airfield, but the team also travels regularly to other cities in Romania for Full Aerobatic and Introduction to Aerobatics flights. Tour dates are announced on Instagram and TikTok.
What are the age and weight limits?
The minimum age is 10; minors fly with both parents present. The maximum passenger weight is 100 kg.
