On the Full Aerobatic, the person who receives the gift is not just a passenger. They can take the control stick and fly the manoeuvres themselves, guided by the pilot — a real first contact with aerobatic flying, not just a symbolic gesture lasting a few seconds. The pilot remains pilot in command throughout the flight and takes over the controls at any time. How much of the flight you actually fly depends on how you feel and on the pilot's recommendation; you can just as easily enjoy the manoeuvres alone, without touching the controls.

An aerobatic trainer, not a competition aircraft

The flights are flown in a Robin R2160 (Alpha Sport), an aircraft designed specifically as an aerobatic trainer — built for people to learn aerobatics on. It has side-by-side seating (you sit next to the pilot, not behind him), dual controls and is certified in the utility and aerobatic categories, with limits of +6/−3G. The manoeuvres are flown at a controlled pace, explained beforehand, with checks between figures and a stop on request.

A competition aerobatic aircraft used for passenger flights is usually built with tandem seating and belongs to a higher performance category. This is not a comparison of quality, but a difference in configuration: an aerobatic trainer is designed for direct communication between the pilot and the person next to them, so it works well as a first experience.
